Young loves music, listening to it or singing it. She loves classical music, rock and roll, or rap, anything that has melodies and rhythms.

Young had piano lessons at 6 yrs old , which did not last more than 2 years. She had three months of vocal lessons, recommended by her high school music teacher, after winning first

place in her high school vocal contest. And then in college, she took a couple months of guitar lessons and throughout her life, she enjoyed singing accompanied by her guitar.

Young has been serving as a cantor and a choir member

for over 25 years at Incarnation church in Centerville, Ohio.

As she promotes this CD of her original songs to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity and Artemis Center Against Domestic Violence, she dedicates this CD to her husband and her two children.
